Bibliotactics
A downloadable game for Windows
A more "aggressive" take on traditional word-forming games. Battle another player, placing letter tiles on a grid to form words and deal damage to defeat them! There is no limit to how many words can be placed per turn, so chain them together to reach valuable spaces on the board, multiplying your damage to turn the tide!
This game was a solo project that began with a paper prototype and originally included a card-battling system reminiscent of games like Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone. The identity of Bibliotactics changed and evolved over time to favor accessibility and simplicity. With a simplified loop and clearer on-boarding process, the game appealed to a much wider range of players, many finding themselves easily engaged.

Install instructions
This game requires two machines to connect over local area network, with one machine acting as the host and the other as their client who must provide the host's IPv4 address to connect. It is built in Godot and not digitally signed, so:
1. You must allow it through Windows Defender
2. You must allow it to operate on your network past Windows Firewall, as the game is currently played over LAN
